Aviation Club
The CUHS Aviation Club started three years ago. The club is focused on getting interested members their basic ground school education for fixed wing flight. More advanced students will explore other areas of interest including rotor wing. In the past, Dennis Rothgeb, a ground instructor, has met with the group throughout the year helping teach them. More experienced students also have responsibility to work with the group providing instruction and guidance when Dennis cannot be there. Though it is not a formal ground school, the lessons are very structured. At this time each student is responsible for buying their own books. Mr. Driskell has served as the club advisor. The Aviation Club will soon be scheduling their first meeting of the year so check back soon for more information.
