• FAFSA-Free Application for Federal Student Financial Aid, Complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1. It's the application for all federal aid, including the Oregon Opportunity Grant — the state need-based grant, and many scholarship opportunities. Deadline is February 1 of each year.
• FAFSA-Financial Aid Afternoon: CUHS usually hosts a financial aid workshop one afternoon close to the start of the new year.  This workshop will be in the computer lab and will be an opportunity for seniors and their parents to complete and submit the FAFSA application.  It is also available for students, and their parents, in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of college. If you plan on attending, please bring your tax returns.  You can also go to the FAFSA PIN website, http://www.pin.ed.gov/PINWebApp/pinindex.jsp, in advance and request a PIN.  The student needs a PIN and at least one parent needs to get a PIN.
